By the end of the course, participants will be fully equipped to confidently deploy and manage a VMX cluster following industry best practices. They will develop a solid understanding of how a VMX cluster operates and how strategic planning can minimize downtime. The course also covers key differences between virtual machines (VMs) and LXC containers, particularly in the context of live guest migration.

Participants will explore built-in shared storage options within a cluster, assessing their strengths and limitations. They will learn to configure VMX and Ceph as a hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), gaining clarity on how the various components of Ceph interact.

Additionally, attendees will understand how high availability (HA) works for guest systems and how to configure it effectively. The training also introduces the Software Defined Networking (SDN) feature in a clustered environment, enabling centralized management of VLANs and other networking components.
